STEM Region

Our regional network is always on the lookout for future scientists. STEM education is our recipe for continued success: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. There are 25 STEM promoters and initiatives under the auspices of the Region Mainfranken GmbH that interface with and improve educational opportunities in the region.

The methodology is as simple as it is effective: generate interest, promote abilities, and create excitement. The web-based STEM Guide lists area STEM opportunities in one place. Other successful tools for finding future Einstein’s are a popular STEM Newsletter, a regional competition “Youth does Research,” and the initiative “Little People Research House” that starts in childcare facilities.
